Robber’s Creek is flowing now through Westwood, California and it is brutal. Just standing on the bank would contaminate one. I went there in the past few days only up to my ankles to cool down. I feel like some kid in India who plays in a polluted sacred river.
So where is Barack Obama? He has taken two vacations since April 20, 2010 the day the Gulf spill began. Obama’s Memorial Day was spent in Chicago.
Where is the mainstream media? They are sure to point you to the BP live cam (which is good) and the birds that are losing their life to no fault of their own.
An important observation is that without recognizing abuse your are escalating the negative latent externality by exponential degrees.
A discussion of the analytical role of CEOs and power elites (president, generals, CEOs) has to be revisited. Obama is becoming more of a cult figure as he is able to duplicity navigate through disaster and his base will look the other way as long as he can supply the gravy train.
The benefit – cost ratio takes on a new dimension. There is also a huge arsenic poisoning in Bangladesh. Over 77 million persons are affected in what is now the world’s largest recognized mass poisoning behind Bhopal and Chernobyl.
I would state that all 38 million people in California are victims of the Chemical Assault – Earth Program. Governor Schwarzenegger will leave by January 2011. The wealth of our public officials here is staggering in contrast to the communities that are bearing the brunt of abuse.
